Portable Sunsets is the project of artist and electronic music producer Peter Segerstrom. Portable Sunsets was started in San Francisco in 2003 on the net label http://flatflat.org. Flatflat.org was originally to release only 3" cdrs and then moved to free mp3s. Peter uses max/msp and a monome from http://monome.org in conjunction with other software to create textural improvisatory hallucinogenic music that is oriented towards the natural world while still being created for a club experience. Nature Garage is the first release of 2010, soon to be followed by the Ordinary Shock Ep and the Coasts Ep.
