Georgia-based underground icon Cartier'God plays only original productions in this guest hour, floating somewhere between house rap, cloud rap, and experimental pop.
Tana Yonas collects songs like souvenirs, each recalling precious moments found leafing through dusty foreign record shops or catching sonic fragments weathered by time from the radio of bumpy taxi rides. Listen as she delicately guilds together these memories and shares music from lesser known and under represented musical traditions from across the globe and decades.

Band Of Pain was started in 1994 as a side project of Splintered, the band Steve Pittis was part of. After several vinyl and CD releases and two John Peel sessions, Steve felt, it was time to break away. Before long, Band Of Pain became his main concern and Splinterd split at the end of 1996. Since then Band Of Pain has released numerous records and CDs. The most recent of these is the CD "Que Amiga?". This CD has been listed as "The Album Of The Year" in "Terrorizer" magazine, which also gave a 9 out of 10 review for the follow up release, the soundtrack to controversial film director, Nigel Wingrove's movie "Sacred Flesh". Actually Steve is working on the sixth full-length release of Band Of Pain "Fallen", which is expected to release on Cold Spring this year.
