Ruff Driverz

Ruff Driverz

Ruff Driverz has been played on NTS in shows including Courtesy, featured first on 24 May 2019. Songs played include Don't Stop (Scott Garcia Remix), Deeper Love (Ruff Driverz Original Mix) and Deeper Love (Classic Mix).

Ruff Driverz were the aliases of British DJ/remixers Brad Carter and Chris Brown. The duo also recorded under the names 2000BC and Transit.

Between 1997 and 2000 the duo scored a string of dance hits in the UK. But two of their biggest hits in that country were also major successes on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in the United States in 1999, where they were released on Tommy Boy Records: The flamenco-inspired "Dreaming" (featuring Katherine "Arrola" Ellis and credited as "Ruff Driverz Presents Arrola"), a Top Ten hit on the UK Singles Chart, which peaked at #20 in the United States, and "Waiting For The Sun," which was their highest charting record, peaking at #2.

Today Carter continues as a solo producer and remixer, while Brown has reportedly since retired from the music industry.
