Down South has been played on NTS in shows including Ted Draws, featured first on 24 September 2019. Songs played include Big Wheels and Southern Comfort (Clean Version).

Down South were an American hip-hop group consisting of Soda Pop, Myyor the DJ and Shawn J Period. They released their debut and only album in 1994 called Lost In Brookyln. The group later broke up, with Shawn J Period going on to have a successful production career in the underground hip-hop scene, working with Mos Def, Artifacts and Bush Babees.
