S/Z

S/Z has been played on NTS shows including Otologic, with Harmonics first played on 29 September 2019.

There are two groups under the name S/Z

S/Z were an experimental group active in the early 1980s, consisting of Mohamed, Paul Belford and Susan McCoubrie. They released 2 EPs and a self-released cassette, plus three tracks for compilations on the Touch label. Various of their tracks featured evangelical pastor Robert W. Schambach.

London, UK based electro-post-dubstep duo S/Z are Ekocam and Earthkeptwarm.

After a brief period collaborating with Japanese vocalist Ayu, the band became a duo in the Spring of 2008. They have recently completed the recording of a forthcoming EP that will be titled 'Credit Crunk' which is expected to be released on multi-formats some time in early 2009.

The bands main focus is performing electronic and analogue music in a live setting by incorporating their various influences.
