Blacksand was formed in November 2006 and is the collaborative work of Nick Franglen (one half of Lemon Jelly) and Charles Casey.
Their music consists only of the two members playing guitars, although they are heavily processed, effected, looped etc to create different sounds. All of their tracks are improvised and recorded live with no overdubs.
Barn, their first album released on 24/03/2008, was recorded in a barn in Sussex. The duo are looking to create more music in other unusual locations in the future.
