Begun in 1999, Hoor-paar-Kraat began as a solo effort based mainly upon the uses of location specific recordings, analog feedback, effects pedals and harsh noise.
Over time, Hoor-paar-Kraat has worked in many formats with a vast array of fine musicians to produce the greatly varied releases of Goat Eater Recordings, all of which have been very limited and always hand made and consecrated by Anthony Mangicapra, himself.
The sounds of Hoor-paar-Kraat have grown and changed with every release, having employed the use of modular synthesizers, loops, effects, field recordings, found sounds, low frequency drone, analog feedback, location specific recordings, turntable manipulation and harsh noise.
