Della Grant is considered to be America's finest female reggae singer. Although born in Georgia, she is just as much Jamaican as if she was born there. She was born into a family of talented musician and has been singing since the age of 6 and her voice has improved if anything with age. She has toured with her husband and brother-in-law, Ralston and Norman Grant, the famous Twinkle Brothers, and has obtained national and international recognition in her own right. She is well known in the UK and in Europe generally. Della's husband, Ralston Grant and her brother-in-law, Norman Grant compose and produce her music, while husband Grant also leads her band, The Pacesetters. Della has performed at such events as Reggae Sunsplash and White River Reggae Bash in Jamaica; headlined the 10th Annual Reggae Sunsplash in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Vancouver (B.C.) Island Reggaefest, Reggae on the River, Reggae in the Park, The Essential Festival in Brighton, England, festivals in Turkey, Poland, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Hawaii, numerous Bob Marley Day celebrations and much more. Della has performed with some of the world's most famous artists such as Shaggy, Maxi Priest, Bunny Wailer, Josey Wales, Buju Banton, Andrew Tosh, Pablo Moses, Judy Mowatt, Rita Marley, Charlie Chaplin, Israel Vibration, E.T. Webster, Freddie McGregor, Frankie Paul, Third World, Culture, Lucky Dube, Michael Rose, Inner Circle, Sister Carol, Pato Banton, Barrington Levy, Mutabaruka, Sugar Minott, Morgan Heritage and many more.
