Rotjoch, which loosely translates as ' 'Bad Boy' or Punk Kid', is the moniker for two Dutch artists.
Rotjoch (real name: Angelo Diop) is a Dutch-Senegalese rapper and TV show host from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Growing up in the Bijlmermeer and Holendrecht neighborhoods of Amsterdam South-East, Rotjoch became the presenter for the acclaimed hip hop show 101Barz on BNN. Hosting studio sessions with guest artists, he provides a platform for the young hip-hop talent of the country to be heard. He also owns and operates his own independent record labels' Mucho Dinero and Rotjoch United. 2022 saw the release of his long overdue début album in his own right, entitled Float.
Rotjoch was a garage punk band from The Netherlands, active in the early 1980s. They released one studio LP: Bad Boy (1981). Personnel: Michiel ten Veen (bass, backing vocals), Pim Bilderbeek (guitar, backing vocals), Ronald Welgemoed (lead vocals, guitar). The band's only LP featured two different drummers: Minze Koopman on four songs, René van den Velden on the rest.
