Treva Spontaine initially performed New Wave music in the southeast after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She performed as Treva Spontaine and as Treva Spontaine and the Graphic (sometimes Grafic). Much later Treva performed folk music as just Treva.
