Doug Haire is ex sound engineer and founder of KEXP’s “Sonarchy” show, which broadcasts hourlong live recordings from avant-garde Seattle musicians. After more than 25 years as a professional engineer, Haire quit to pursue his own work in order to be an “amateur” artist again. He explores “object theater,” creating narratives with inanimate objects and giving them soundtracks.
