JCK's output as a pianist, composer and producer has indisputably helped shape the cultural atmosphere and music scene of Los Angeles & beyond. A distinct instrumental style merges his background in jazz with electronic, bending sound and combining synths with organic textures. An interest in landscapes and peoples — seemingly imagined and real — is evident in the musical themes he explores, ranging tonally from the spacious and moody to the unbound-exuberant. In addition to his prolific solo career, he’s become a go-to collaborator for many, including Solange, Frank Ocean, Harry Styles, Kali Uchis and many more.
