Genre-shunning Tokyo experimental band Boris share some of their favourite music in a special NTS residency. Their new album "NO" is out now. This episode features music from Hiroshima hardcore punk guitarist Zigyaku, selected by Boris member Takeshi. "Zigyaku is one of Japan's leading hardcore punk guitarists and his influence extends all over the world. He had a huge influence on me as a teenager and I still look up to him to this day. These songs are based on the playlists we have been playing at the venues before shows on our US tour last year and on this currently ongoing European tour.
