Throwback selection of tecnobrega & melody from the past 20 years. Synthesizer pop, romantic ballads, and some cover songs. Tecnobrega was created in the 2000s in the city of Belém, the riverside capital near the mouth of the Amazon. It remained a regional music for decades before becoming a national phenomenon and spinning off into brega funk. This is a journey back to some of the bands and sound systems that started it off and that are keeping it going today.
