A tale of Caribbean dystopia, joy found in the midst of chaos, and tears of resistance, from the depths of Puerto Rico’s underground. Experimental soundscapes, electronica and ambient cuts guide us into the realm of Villana Akin’s “Dormancy”. The San Juan based DJ and producer digs into her archive to bring light to her creations with a mixtape composed of unreleased songs, demos and WIPs, produced from 2019 to 2024.
