Gangsta Rap Classic Hip Hop G-Funk

From the early 1990s a new strain of hip-hop was bubbling away in the Californian state capital of Sacramento. Pioneered by rappers from Brotha Lynch to Marvaless, the Sacramento rap sound was a darker and grittier twist on the classic G-Funk style popularised throughout the rest of the West Coast.
