Calling all field recordists

Are you a field recording enthusiast?
Send in your original recordings to feature in a new NTS project.

Wherever you are in the world, we want to hear what it sounds like. Whether that’s a city, suburb, garden or jungle… We’re looking for a variety of sounds from interesting places: the ambient din of an industrial estate, your partner’s unique snoring pattern, a laughing kookaburra, or raindrops as they hit your window - surprise us!

If you want to participate, please submit a recording using the form below. If chosen, your recording will be streamed and credited on NTS. Submissions should be ambient, environmental noise, and a minimum of 20 minutes long. All chosen recordings will be credited, and the project will launch in Spring 2021.

You don’t need to be an expert or have the fanciest gear to submit something. Check out our recording guide for some pointers.
