Sounds of the Dawn is a monthly two hour session through new age, ambient, environmental, meditation and relaxation cassettes from the seventies to the nineties. Tune in and zone out.
Songs of liberation and solidarity for oppressed peoples of the world in the fight for self-determination and anti-imperialism. This mix was made by Sidhartta Talukdar, a Chakma sound artist and record collector living in Berlin. The Chakmas are a marginalized group of indigenous people in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh, who for decades have been undergoing a slow genocide by Bengali settlers backed by the corrupt military.
