Cease 2 Exist w/ Varg2TM

Varg2TM's career has been nothing if not provocative. From his debut Misantropen, to his now-deleted instagram fullof Moet bottles and Gucci caps, to the blaring drops that proclaim his records as "Anti-Police Music", he is nostranger to controversy. Even his name pissed people off, earning legal threats from German metal band Varg whoreceived a middle finger in the form of the 2TM that now accompanies it. But to call Varg2TM a prankster would be a disservice. Bits and pieces revealed in interviews have rendered a different image in a deep, midnight blue: the man who still mourns the friend he lost tagging trains on Stockholm's blue line, the artist who cried in the second session he had with a collaborator, and the boy who grew up in a declining industrial town in the long dark of northern Sweden. Just as likely to collaborate with Chloe Wise or Cali Thornhill-Dewitt as Bladee or Ecco2k, Varg2TM's artistic world, like his personal one, is an arresting collage of contradictions. Able to wring torrents of feeling out of classic gear like 808s and Junos as easily as 5$ iPad soft synths, his utter disregard for the norms of electronic music, DJ culture and polite society allow him to move pure, uncut electricity with a fervor few can match. It's rare to know what he'll do next, but always exciting to find out.
