Dizzy Fae

Dizzy Fae, age 20, is a queer Black interdisciplinary artist interrogating the nuances and liberties of love and human connection in an ever-expanding world. In the vocal medium, the St. Paul-raised musician operates to forward the context of pop with a strong root in the traditions of R&B. Calling upon the future-facing electronic impulses of Minnesota-based Psymun and Alec Ness (fka su na), Dizzyfrolics through the fringes, laying her observations bare with a burning confidence as she attempts to unearth the unknown from within. She exudes an aura of fun, of cockiness, of a respect that will be commanded if it’s unmatched by default. And when she struggles, she refuses to compromise herself or lose her soul.
