Meth Math has always been a band of contradictions, of light and darkness, of - in their own words - the “fino cochino.” The esoteric trio, comprised of vocalist Angel Ballasteros and producers Bonsai Babies and error.error, met and developed their work in the Mexican city of Hermosillo, the capital of the state of Sonora, where they have recorded all of their albums. The serene genesis saw the band slowly submerge into chaos, something that is reflected in both their sound and their creative methods from their first EPs, Pompi and m♡rtal, to their new album Chupetones, released earlier this year.
