PERFIDIA MIX is one and twenty perfidias. A musical journey from Mexico to Jamaica, from Cuba to Finland, from Spain to Argentina. A love letter to one of the most celebrated heartbreak songs of all times where Lee Perry meets Xavier Cugat, Najwa meets Los Panchos, and Nat King Cole meets Hugo Montenegro.
"Perfidia" was originally written in 1939 by Mexican composer and arranger Alberto Domínguez. It was first performed in 1940 by Xavier Cugat, and soon became a hit and one of the most covered songs of all times.
