Electro Funk Detroit Techno

The New Dance Show was a Detroit-area TV show that aired from the late 80s through the mid 90s on a local TV affiliate. MC'd by silky-smooth host R.J. Watkins, the show featured live dancers and DJs, who led the crowd through eclectic and fast-paced mixes of everything from raunchy bass bangers to some pretty freaky techno. This show highlights some of those episodes.
