Focus on SWV
SWV's (Sisters With Voices) rise to fame is in all appearances the standard blueprint of the iconic 90s R&B group - Koko, Taj, + Lelee met as children, learning to harmonise with one another singing in church. Their original demo caught the ears of Teddy Riley, the godfather of New Jack Swing, who helped usher them into the charts with a double platinum debut album, and a string of number one singles.
