Carolina Soul is a record seller based in Durham, NC, USA. They specialize in rare and classic soul, boogie, gospel and modern obscure tracks from the Carolinas and beyond, mixed with all-time bangers and ballads.

Folk Modern Classical New Age

Guesting this month is Age of Reflections’ artistic director Bob Maynard. Based in Brooklyn and Chicago, Reflections is a curatorial platform for sound, light, and space, presenting immersive events of kosmische, ambient, new age, and drone music. For Heaven and Earth Magic, Bob shares a meditation on “interludes”: liminality, crossings, inbetween-ness. Many of the tracks are diversions from each artist’s typical sound. Instrumental passages, soft left turns, all awake to the possibilities between worlds.
