Known for his creative individuality, Shannon surpasses boundaries in the DJ, music production, & composition scenes. His ubiquitous disc jockey programming allowed him to travel to five continents with DJ residencies in various nightclubs, festivals, and global events. Shannon began playing in 1986, performing internationally in 1998 and has releases on labels in Chicago, New York, Japan, London, Kenya, and Italy. His work and performances span across genres including jazz, rock, neo-soul, afro-beat, kirtan, techno, world music, medicinal sound healing, and house. Some artists Shannon has performed with include RJD2, DJ Quantic, Nona Hendryx, Donna Mcghee, Kahil El'Zabar, Nikodemus, Ali Shaheed Muhammed, Ron Trent, Awesome Tapes from Africa, MoodyMan, David Mancuso and many others.His productions are featured on several European labels including Latenite Productions, Super Culture, Here and Now Recordings, Neroli, and BBE. His work is also housed on US labels; Tribal Winds, Katalyst Entertainment, and his own musical imprints, Urbanicity, Audio Pharmacology™, and Disco Eclectic Recordings.
