LABOUR is a Berlin-based sonic entity which seeks to contribute toward a space—both physical and psychological—of nonconforming social practices and identities, and revisits the nature of work as a potentially transformative activity. Maintained throughout their practice is a critical stance toward notions of regulated time. Expect heavy sabar drum music from Senegal including classic Mbalax of the previous generation, contemporary Mbalax and timeless Sufi praises.
