I wrote most of these lines deliriously hungry during my Yom Kippur fast and he unflinchingly mailed the audio files back, mixed, compressed, three cuts of each line in about 15 minutes. My dad is really a one of a kind guy, spectacularly talented and stubborn in his vision, exacting in his criticism, hilariously funny and strange and getting to collaborate with him would be a great honor if I wasn’t already his son… This is really something I get to keep and hold onto forever, and I’ve already warned him that he’s going to be a fixture of my projects moving forward.
