Sounds & Style: Heidi Bivens Mix

Euphoria costume designer, Heidi Bivens joins Lynette on this week’s episode of Sounds & Style to discuss her subcultural influences. Heidi grew up under the influence of the Riot Grrrl movement, and later moved to New York in the early 1990s, at the intersection of hip-hop, skate culture and punk. Later her role as costume design on Harmony Korine’s Beach Bum gave her an unexpected appreciate for yacht rock and easy listening. “There was a lot of unison between genres at that time.
