Plunging into the mysterious and creatively-free world of Japanese record label DD Records. Founded by Kamada Tadashi in the early 1980s. The collective produced hundreds of cassette releases from their wider social and creative circle, like-minded in their disregard for genre restrictions and commerciality.
Selected and mixed by NTS, featuring tracks from Phantom Limb's forthcoming reissue, Disk Musik: A DD. Records Compilation.

This month’s programme celebrates invisible labour. Taking as its starting point the short film ‘Clotheslines’ (Roberta Cantow, 1981), it explores the complex landscape of work in the home. Anchored in 1970s feminist art practice and oral histories of the women’s movement, it brings into focus the social, cultural and economic value of unpaid work.
With contributions from: Faith Ringgold, Catherine Hall, Selma James, Mary Kelly and Martha Rosler.
