Spoken Word Ambient Minimalism

Michael Bracewell’s Souvenir (White Rabbit Books, 2021) drifts through ‘70s and ‘80s London from pre-development Docklands to the crumbling squats of Notting Hill and Paddington. His book is as much about architecture, light and weather as it is about music, time and memory. Taking a cut-and-paste approach to his text, this programme reads the city from east to west.
