NTS presents the official music video for 3402 SELVES SUBS, composed entirely from images synthesized by an AI, designed by Lorem (aka Francesco D'Abbraccio) and Nicola Cattabiani.
Their "elastic LERP" algorithm explores the latent space of Tero Karras' Generative Adversarial Network (GAN). Trained on pictures of celebrities, the elastic LERP generates a completely synced video based on transient-led analyses of the audio source – no editing has been made.
"3402 SELVES SUBS" is the first of a series of 8 videos included in Lorem's AI driven debut A/V album "Adversarial Feelings" – released this coming February in SD card + book format by Krisis Publishing and distributed by London's Lobster. Lorem is a project developed involving AI and video artists, computer scientists and synth programmers.
