Mwëslee

Mwëslee has been played on NTS shows including Mamiko Motto, with Ouest Wind's Seagulls (Mwëslee Remix) first played on 4 November 2012.

Diego Cobo aka MwësLee is a young artist and producer located in Vigo, Spain. After playing the bass in rock groups while devouring tons of hip hop, in 1996 he started deejaying in different clubs, selecting a menu with rap, acid jazz or illbient as ingredients.

In January 2006 he has launched his first 12 inch, Megaplast EP, with the support of the Dutch label Kindred Spirits, six themes of instrumental hip hop of great musicality with an electronic twist for fans of people like Prefuse 73, SA-RA or Dabrye. His work has received the recognition of international radios and prestigious DJs, such as Gilles Peterson (BBC), Ben Mono (Compost), Benji B (BBC 1Xtra), Huw Stephens (One Music/One World) or Andrew Jervis (Ubiquity), besides appearing among the favourites in the charts of Jazzy Sport (Tokyo), Dancetracks (New York) or Beyondjazz.net (Belgium).
