This month’s show features the great Senegalese griot singer, Khar Mbaye Madiaga and her band, featuring much of her 1990 release "Khaleyi" which translates to "child" from Wolof. Her band includes previous feature on this show, the great percussionist Bada Seck, also of current Ndagga Rhythm Force renown. This show also features tracks from the great tama player and bandleader of the same era, Djamil Thiam interspersed through the end.
