Dabke Arabic Pop Arabic Traditional

The Syrian Cassette Archives team dive into Syria’s rich musical past in this guest show. Unearthing rare and vibrant cassette recordings from the 1970s to the 2010s, they explore the sounds of dabke, shaabi, classical and beyond. Through collaboration with Syrian communities globally, SCA documents sounds and memories of a musical history that cannot be overlooked and should not be forgotten.
