Known affectionately as "Shahroura", the "singing bird", Lebanese star Sabah (named after her breakout character in Egyptian film El-Qalb Louh Wahid) is an omniprescent figure in the popular culture of the Arab world, releasing over 50 albums, and starring in almost 100 films in her storied career.
